Clarity Audio Visual Solutions are a diverse Audio Visual Installation company. Based in Yorkshire, we cover, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Wetherby, Leeds, York and the surrounding areas.

We have been involved in the AV industry for over 15 years. With a background in the world of live events, we took the skills and knowledge we gained and diversified into the installation market.

We specialise in all areas of AV installations including media rooms, home automation, CCTV installation, commercial AV systems and network infrastructure.

Harrogate Smart Home

 

Our client for this project had a clear vision from the outset of how they wanted the technology in their home to function and we worked closely with them to achieve this goal. They wanted to blend the old features of the property with new modern designs and wanted the technology in the home to reflect this.

 

Into the Control4 system we integrated, lighting control, motorised curtains, multi room audio and video distribution for both inside and out, gate control and CCTV.

​

Also installed was a 5.1.2 media room with a 100" Sony TV. Like the rest of the house, this needed to be subtle and not stand out. With this in mind we decided to use the Sonance Invisible range and the results in this cosy room are  brilliant.

​

Norton Loft Cinema​

​

We were contacted by the electrical contracter on this Georgian Town House renovation to come up with a solution for this loft space. 

​

Initially the client was going to just install a big TV on the wall, but decided that they wanted the wow factor cinema experience at home and chose to go for a projector and screen setup.

 

However, like most loft cinemas, the height of the roof was a restricting factor. We fitted an 86" wide 16:9 aspect ratio acoustically transparent projection screen, 6,000 lumen Epson project, 5.1 speaker setup from KEF and a Marantz AVR all tied in with a Control4 system looking after the automation and lighting control of downlights, LED tape and a fibre optic star ceiling.

We are delighted with how the room has turned out as is the client who is looking forward to many evenings spent watching their favourite films from the comfort of their own home.

Bar Sound System​

​

For this project we were contracted to design a multi zone sound system for this bar/cafe refurbishment.

 

The brief we were given was for a background music system covering different areas of the bar over three floors and the option to have a different source playing in each zone.

 

We supplied a Cloud 3 zone mixer, Apart Audio loudspeakers and amplifer. To work within the clients budget we reused the existing speakers and amplifier for the top two floors.

Warehouse CCTV

 

We were tasked with providing a CCTV solution to secure this 14,000 sq ft warehouse. Using a range of cameras from Hikvision we designed and installed a 24 camera system with internal and external cameras using a mixture of darkfighter and colorvu technologies.

 

We used mini domes with darkfighter technology for all of the office areas. Colorvu turret cameras were specified for inside the warehouse along with colorvu bullet cameras to cover all the external entrances and the yard area.

Inside the warehouse to get the optimum locations we had to create some custom brackets using unistrut mounted to the steel uprights.

​

Overall the client was really pleased with the system, they were impressed with the clarity of the cameras and the quality of the nightime image.

Office Refit

​

One of our business customers took on a new office in Lichfield and got us involved to design, install and test their network cabling infrastructure.

​

We worked closely with the IT team to ensure that the design met their requirements and once signed off we headed over to site to install nearly 100 data points for desks, printers, TV's and wireless access points.

​

Even through this was a refurbishment project, we managed to get all cables installed with minimal damage to the walls. 

​

Once installed we terminated all of the data plates and patch panels and did a full network test using our Fluke network testing equipment and supplied the client with their report.

​

Finally, we supplied and installed HDAnywhere HDMI extenders for video sources in the equipment rack to be shown on the TV screens around the office.

Shop CCTV​

​

We were contracted to supply and install a new CCTV for this independant shop. The old analogue system was starting to fail so we replaced the whole system with a new IP based system.

​

This project was completed in stages on Sundays when the shop was shut so as not to disrupt the business trading. Stage 1 was to install the new network cabling infrastructure, Stage 2 was to replace all the external cameras and install the new NVR, finally, Stage 3 was to install all the new internal cameras. 

​

We used a mixture of cameras on this project, colorvu cameras were used externally, darkfighter cameras are installed in the main shop areas and varifocal cameras are covering the tills.

​

Nearly 50 new IP cameras have now been installed and the owner is over the moon with the new system commenting on how amazing the clarity of the images are!

Festival Site CCTV

 

We were approached by a local music festival to provide site wide CCTV for the build up to the festival and over the festival weekend.
​
We worked with the festival organisers to determine the key areas where the cameras would be best located and decided on a 12 camera solution utilising both static and PTZ (pan, tilt and zoom) cameras.

Using wireless links, the camera feeds were all sent back to the event security cabin, where the security team could monitor all the cameras from a central location. 

We had excellent feedback from the security team who were blown away with the qualitiy of the cameras for a temporary installation and how it added an additional level of functionality to them having eyes on the whole site.
